Yasha grew up with her tribe in Xhorhas. She was given the title Orphanmaker, a prediction of her future, and eventually met Zuala. The two fell in love and married in secret against her Tribe's tradition. The leaders eventually found out, and Zuala was killed. Yasha fled Xhorhas in fear, and after months of missing memories ended up at the temple of the Stormlord. She ended up in the Empire at The Fletching and Moondrop Traveling Carnival of Curiosities, working as security, where she became friends with a Tiefling named Mollymauk.

Yasha has extremely pale skin, and is 5' 11'' and muscular. She has black hair in braids with white tips. Her clothes are more tattered and old, and wears the symbol of the Stormlord around her waist. She has one blue-green eye and one violet one.

Yasha is extremely shy and feels awkward especially in a smaller group, which made it harder for her to feel a part of the Mighty Nein. Despite her somewhat intimidating appearance, it becomes obvious that she is secretly quite sweet and sentimental. She is also quite sad over the death of Zuala, and collects flowers throughout her travels to bring her grave.
Sexuality[]
Yasha's sexuality was left rather ambiguous, but she did seem to return Beau's flirtation. She eventually revealed that she had a wife before her death and leaving Xhorhas. On Tumblr, Brian W. Foster, Ashley Johnson's fiance, made a post about Yasha on international lesbian day, indicating that she is a lesbian. When one of the guests on Talks Machina joked that Obann was waiting for Yasha to kiss him, he also said that he wasn't her type. In episode 104, Liam O'Brian also called her along with Beau a lesbian and Marisha Ray also, referred to both Yasha and Beau as "disaster lesbians" in Beau's second official playlist.

Yasha fell in love with Zuala and the two eventually married. Both had been previously arranged to marry others, but married in secret against the code of their tribe. This couldn't be undone as their tribe marries for life. When their tribe found out they were taken and Zuala was seemingly killed. Yasha ran away in fright, and continues to mourn her wife.

Beau immediately was attracted to Yasha, though Yasha did not seem to return the sentiment, given that she was still mourning her wife. But throughout the episodes of the second campaign, she grew closer, and eventually near the end, began dating her.
