Dan Shelter
Dan is Vickie's former boyfriend who came down from college to visit her in Hawkins on his Spring break. After all the chaos in Hawkins he breaks up with Vickie because he didn't want to be in Hawkins. Vickie states "ultimately it's bordering on a good thing, 'cause he was really grating on me." and that she should have broken up with him sooner.
Robin Buckley
Vickie and Robin know each other because they are both in band together. Robin has a crush on her and is unsure if Vickie likes girls as well, but Steve thinks she should make a move. In the second half of season 4 Robin sees Vickie kiss her boyfriend Dan, and storms off. Vickie sees that she has hurt Robin's feelings. Later on when Robin volunteers to help at Hawkins High School with Steve and Dustin she runs in to Vickie, who is also helping make food for members of the community. Vickie is happy to see her, and tells Robin she and Dan broke up and that it was a good thing. The two continue talking and getting to know each other.
