Vi is a white woman with short reddish pink hair in an undercut style, grey-blue eyes and several tattoos, a nose ring on her left nostril, and two earrings on her left ear which were gained during her time in prison, most notably one which reads her name on her cheek and has a few freckles on her face. She also has scars on her lip and eyebrow her presentation is stereotypically masculine/butch, she is tall and muscular, and wears common punk style fashion.
As a teenager, Vi's hair was slightly longer and slightly more pink, she had no tattoos or scars.
As a child, her hair was short but she had no undercut.

Vi is shown to be attracted to women in the show through her interactions with Caitlyn - calling her 'hot', touching her face and holding her hand, flirting with her, etc.
Caitlyn and Vi have been confirmed as queer multiple times by Amanda Overton, a writer on the series. One writer on the show described the show as the 'league of lesbians show'. Amanda Overton stated that sexuality labels do not exist in-universe. However, this doesn't necessarily mean a character couldn't be confirmed as a certain sexuality outside of it.
Outside of the universe, official art from Pride month 2023 confirmed League Vi as a lesbian, with her appearing in one piece with a lesbian pin and in another holding the lesbian flag. The official League of Legends Instagram also reposted two people cosplaying as Caitlyn and Vi with lesbian flags wrapped around them, and League even added an extra lesbian flag to the background of the image, further confirming their sexualities.
Although Arcane differs in many respects from League of Legends, major canon facts are generally seen to be the same in both the show and the game, so this confirmation almost certainly applies to the Arcane version of Vi too.

Caitlyn Kiramman[]
Caitlyn is Vi's only romantic interest in the show. Although they initially don't get along, likely due to coming from extremely drastic backgrounds, Vi being raised on the streets of Zaun and Caitlyn having somewhat more of a privileged upbringing in Piltover, they quickly show interest in each other throughout the course of the show, Vi describing Caitlyn as "hot" and nicknaming her "cupcake".
Their relationship continues to develop over the days they spend together, Vi seemingly takes note and smirking when she spots Caitlyn expressing romantic interest in women, and when Caitlyn saved her life twice, showing that they both genuinely care about each other beyond their shared goal and are attracted to each other.
It is possible that their relationship may have progressed beyond what was shown on screen, as Vi's sister, Jinx, describes Caitlyn as Vi's girlfriend, and Vi doesn't deny the statement. Amanda Overton has also implied that their relationship may have progressed during the hours in which they were alone in Caitlyn's room in the show's eighth episode.
