Biography[]
Summer is one of the Spirits that the current Spiritfarer, Stella, guides toward the afterlife, as well as Stella's aunt.
Summer grew up on a midwestern farm and went on to get an engineering degree in agriculture. This degree guaranteed her a good job with a number of farming corporations. Unfortunately, the corporations were using certain carcinogenic chemicals, and Summer developed breast cancer. She left her work in order to heal, and met Stella's aunt Rose. The two women fell in love and got married.
Rose showed Summer a different way to live, and Summer got interested in biodynamic farming and spirituality. The women built a blooming garden just for themselves, where they lived happily until Rose passed away. After this loss, Summer found it difficult to take care of herself. Some time later her cancer returned and this time she wasn't able to beat it. She died with Stella by her side, an event that inspired Stella to become a nurse.
Appearance[]
In the Spirit world, Summer takes the form of a brown snake. She wears long green hooded robe with daisies attached to its belt. She uses her tail as a hand.
Personality[]
Summer is a deeply spiritual person. She believes in what she calls universal love, bonding every living creature in the world. She has a deep connection with nature and knows a song that makes plants grow faster. Because of this connection with all life, she is vegan.
Sexuality[]
Summer is a lesbian. She doesn't really discuss her sexuality, as she treats it as a mundane fact, but she often talks about her late wife and their life together.

Summer and Rose were married. Rose introduced Summer to spirituality, which changed her life. Their life together was very happy and after Rose's death Summer found it very difficult to function.
