Nick is shown as a really kind person although he is often misunderstood as a mindless rugby lad.
Sexuality[]
Nick is bisexual. He had a crush on a girl named Tara Jones throughout Year 7 and 8, and the two kissed during the Year 8 Higgs-Truham Disco. Though Tara discovered she was a lesbian and began dating Darcy Olsson. Nick discovers his sexuality when he begins to have feelings for Charlie. After kissing him, he's initially fearful, but Charlie comforts him and explains that he's possibly bisexual. Nick, liking the term, does his research and concludes that is his sexuality. In the show, in episode 1x8 he tells Charlie saying, “I'm definitely bisexual." He comes out to his mum as bisexual later that same day.
In the comics, it is shown he had a crush on a Year 8 boy while he was in Year 7 but didn’t realize it was a crush. He comes out and grows comfortable in himself.
