Lucifer's early life is based on biblical events. He, like the other angels, was born of a God and a Goddess. One day, a group of angels decided to raise a rebellion against God, and they were led by Lucifer. For this, he and his companions were banished to Hell, and Lucifer was appointed king of Hell by God. He lived there, ruled over demons and punished sinners from the beginning of time, until one day he decided to take a vacation.
On Earth, Lucifer decided to settle in Los Angeles and opened his nightclub "Lux" there. The events of the series begin 5 years later, when an unknown person kills a singer, Lucifer's friend, on the threshold of Lux, and he wants to find the killer himself.

In the series Lucifer has light skin, dark hair and brown eyes. Lucifer also has wings, which often changed their appearance in the series.
Personality[]
Lucifer is a very pleasant and charismatic character, he often jokes and flirts with others. He helps the police on Earth because he considers it his duty to restore justice (in Hell, he did the same thing, in fact - punished sinners). In addition, he always tells the truth, even about his non-human origin, but usually they do not believe him. Despite his cruelty in the past (as an example, the torture of sinners in Hell), along with the events of the series, he becomes kinder and more human.
Lucifer leads a lifestyle that corresponds to the king of Hell-uses drugs and alcohol in large quantities, very often changes sexual partners, practices polyamory, is the owner of a nightclub.
Lucifer loves to sing and play the piano, and in the series, he often deals with his feelings and emotions in this way. Also, Lucifer from season 1 begins to visit a psychologist to understand himself.
Sexuality[]
Lucifer was claimed to be Bisexual by Lesley-Ann Brandt, who plays Mazikeen, on twitter in 2020[1] and in an interview in 2021, Joe Henderson confirmed that Lucifer was bisexual, as well as confirming that Chloe Decker was also bisexual.[2].
Reaction[]
Since Lucifer had originally been confirmed as pansexual by the writers of the TV show on their official twitter account (@Lucifer Writers Room), back in April 2017 [3] [4], after a fan had asked "is it that hard to say bisexual" in response to the show-runner and writer (Ildy Modrovich, @Ildymojo) assuring them that #Lucifer is into "All things delicious"; the re-labeling of the character as a bisexual was met with mixed feelings by the pansexual fans of the show, that had been strongly identifying with him and seeing in the character a representation of their own sexuality.
Since then, the fandom has largely been very welcoming of the use of both labels to refer to Lucifer's sexuality - bisexual and pansexual - seeing in the character being bi/pan a reflection of people that may choose to identify as both, and feel at home in with the two definitions. [5]
Relationships[]
Eve[]
Eve was sick of living in Paradise with her husband Adam, who had never loved her. She finds a way to escape and returns to her original form as a young girl. After that, she flies to Los Angeles to resume her relationship with Lucifer, who was her first love.
Lucifer was good to Eve, but he didn't love her the way she loved him. Their relationship began again due to the fact that Eve was not afraid of Lucifer's true demonic nature and accepted him. They eventually broke up because their life paths and goals diverged - eve wanted non-stop fun on Earth, but Lucifer had become a more serious and balanced person over the years. Especially since he was still in love with Chloe.

Linda Martin - psychologist and later a close friend of Lucifer, with whom he had a sexual relationship in return for her services as a psychologist and consultant. Linda wanted a sexual relationship with Lucifer because of his demonic charms, but their relationship ended when she fell in love with someone.
Chloe Decker[]
Chloe is the only person Lucifer has ever been in love with. They have a very close bond, and always support each other. They started as friends, but became more overtime, eventually finding out that they are soulmates, and that Chloe was created by God to be with Lucifer. While this prophecy, and Chloe finding out that Lucifer is truly the devil scared her at first she realizes that nothing can break the bond that her and Lucifer have, and that she is truly in love with Lucifer. Chloe tells Lucifer's twin brother Michael "what Lucifer and I have is special. It's real, and it doesn't matter how many lies you tell me I will never lose faith, in me and him". Lucifer will do anything to protect Chloe. They are best friends, partners, and soulmates.
