Glimmer is the daugther of the queen Angella and the King Micah from Bright Moon, when she was a little kid, her father "died" during a battle, but was later discovered to have been alive in exile.
She and Bow have been close friends since they were kids, When she and Bow met Adora, they get convinced that She-Ra could help to fight the horde.

Glimmer is relatively short, with tanned skin. She has short pink and purple glittered hair. She wears a dark purple jumpsuit with a pale blue split end cloak and shoulder pads. She wears a teardrop shaped earring, and wields her father’s staff.

Glimmer is a kind and caring person but is very prone to outbursts and irritability. She's affectionate but can also rebuff affection when she feels annoyed.
Sexuality[]
Creator of She-Ra ND Stevenson confirmed on June 9th 2020 in a Twitch livestream that Glimmer and her boyfriend Bow are "definitely not straight" confirming the long time speculation from She-Ra fans that Glimmer, and Bow are both bisexual.[1]

At the end of the series, she confesses her love to him when they are both about to rush into danger.

Most fans believe Glimmer to have had a crush on Adora at the beginning of the series. This was evidenced by various ways in which she behaved, including moving to lie against Adora's chest in a sauna in the episode In The Shadows of Mystacor.
