Four and X are confirmed to be dating.

In a livestream hosted by Micheal Huang on August 6, 2018, When asked about his opinion on 4x, he replies with “No, don’t be sorry! I like the shipping! 4x is cool, I like 4x”, Later when asked about it again, he replies with “4x is definitely a real thing, their like Partners in Crime, y’know like, they host the show together”

In JacknJellify’s parody song of “All I want for Christmas”, titled, “All I want for X-Mas”, It is implied that Four wants to spend all of Christmas with X and X alone, but is too stubborn to ask because X is too busy celebrating it, X even sounds nervous and flustered when Four mentions a mistletoe to them

In most episodes of BFB, Four is shown to be overprotective over X and showing admiration over them, even wanting X to be close to them at all times, with X feeling flattered over it.
