Elle is introduced that she nows go by Elle and is also introduced as a former Truham student.
Reaction[]
Elle's transition is pre-cannon to both the comics and the TV show. Her friends and family are all very kind and supportive of her. Never having anything negative to say about her transition, gender expression or pronouns. It is mentioned by Tao in S1E1 of the show that Mr. Reed (a Truham teacher) was "still refusing to call her Elle". Elle herself is noted in the comics to be at least a little self-conscious of her body. This is revealed when the Paris squad goes to the beach together and she tells Tao she doesn't own a swimsuit.
