Chunt is a bisexual character from Hello from the Magic Tavern.
Biography[]
Chunt is one of the three hosts of the Hello from the Magic Tavern Podcast, along with Arnie Niekamp and Usidore.
He was born to Eleanor the manticore and Hungho the hunger ghost, one of the rare combinations that produce shapeshifter offspring. He's been friends with Usidore for many years and was the first creature that Arnie encountered after falling into the land of Foon.
Besides his role as a podcast host, Chunt does a number of other things. He used to own a restaurant called Chu Chu's Chow, and after the Dark Lord took over the town of Hogsface, he joined his forces for some time to avoid being thrown into a dungeon along with Arnie and Usidore. He struggled with a life-threatening curse for a time, and in an attempt to cure it he (or rather Arnie acting on his behalf) inadvertently killed the king of the Northeast, Albain Belaroth.
After Usidore's duel with the Dark Lord ends with the evil wizard getting trapped in the body of one of his minions, Chunt helps Usidore to keep this fact a secret - as it's believed that the Dark Lord is dead - by trapping him in the basement of a place they rent in a little town called Nibblebottom. To pass the time, Chunt runs for Nibblebottom's town daddy (a position similar to mayor) and opens a black-and-whitesmith shop (as opposed to a blacksmith, a reference to his badger fur being black and white).
Appearance[]
Chunt is a shapeshifter, which means he's taken a number of different forms over the years. At the beginning his abilities were sex-related, meaning he would shapeshift into any creature he had sex with, but in the recent years he gained the ability to change his form at will (although he briefly lost control over it during the Shattering, a worldwide event which trapped each creature in Foon in their own small shard of reality). He is usually a badger, as it seems to be his favorite form, but also used the forms of a number of different animals (ranging from an ant to a whale), a few different people, and even a small volcano. No matter the form he takes, he always has two buttholes.
Personality[]
Chunt is generally a positive and optimistic creature, who enjoys adventure, friendship, and sex. He can be egoistic at times and look out for himself before taking care of his friends, like when he joined the Dark Lord's forces to avoid being thrown into a dungeon. Despite this, he stays friendly with many creatures across all of Foon and is seen by many as a good friend.
Sexuality[]
Chunt is bisexual, and like most denizes of Foon, he is completely open about his sexuality. He enjoys sex very much and had many partners from many different species.

Relationships[]
Sapphire[]
Sapphire was one of the last three Great Blue Tigers left in Foon. Chunt dated her for a while before taking her to Make Out Point, a shack where couples go to check if their love is real. They were both given the choice to save themselves or their partner, and while Sapphire chose to save Chunt, he also chose to save himself, which caused Sapphire to die.
Twosidore[]
Twosidore was a "wizard", who approached the three hosts of the podcast while they were in Hogsface. While Arnie and Usidore found Twosidore obnoxious and annoying (with Usidore continuously insisting that Twosidore is not a wizard and should stop calling himself that), Chunt slowly fell in love with him. They dated for some time, and Chunt was fully accepting of Twosidore being polyamorous and having a wife already. Chunt took Twosidore to Make Out Point, and it turned out to be the first time both him and his date survived the experience, as they learned that if each person decides to save their partner rather than themselves, they both survive, They got engaged and eventually married. Unfortunately, as the Foonish tradition called for them to have a sexual dance during the wedding ceremony, and as it was probably the very first time in history that a wizard had sex with a shapeshifter, Twosidore exploded during the act and most probably died. He left behind an egg, which is assumed to be his and Chunt's child, and which Chunt called Eggy-Baby.
Mark[]
Mark is a half-man half-shark that Chunt hooked up with. According to Chunt, Mark was great and watched him have sex with a hydra.
Northeastia Alexia[]
Northeastia Alexia is a sentient female boat that Chunt used to date.
Ana Phylactic[]
Chunt dated Ana for two weeks.
Tommy the Throat[]
Chunt meets Tommy - who is a giraffe and possibly a gangster - in the tavern The Dehydrated Mermaid in the city of Cloudfall. They hook up, but according to Chunt it is quite awkward, as Tommy cries during sex and - despite being an adult - keeps saying that he doesn't want to grow up.
Moose[]
While recording the spin-off podcast Hey Tavern Tavern, Chunt goes on a blind date in order to start "putting himself out there" after Twosidore's death. It turns out his date is a female moose called Moose. During their first date Chunt is very rude to Moose, insluting her voice and the chandeliers she wears on her antlers. In order to apologize, he later invites her to a second date, during which he realizes she's not his type, but he states he's glad to have made a new friend.
Patty[]
Patty is a gerbil that Chunt used to date. Their relationship lasted only a lew weeks and when it was over, Chunt decided to undergo a process during which his memories of Patty were extracted and baked into a break. This was meant to make him forget about her, but apparently it wasn't fully successful, as he still remembers dating her.
Philby[]
Philby is a tiny bear who claims to be a baker and the owner of Philby's Bakery. He is featured as a guest on the podcast, claiming that he wants to promote his shop. Chunt immediately finds him adorable and soon realizes that he's attracted to him. They start to flirt and things seem to be going well, until Arnie reveals to Philby that Chunt likes his porridge cold, bringing back painful memories for Philby, whose parents divorced because they were unable to establish the correct temperature of porridge. This makes it hard for Philby to like Chunt any longer, but they do keep on talking and eventually Philby asks for some money to help his baking business. In the end it is revealed that Philby is a traveling con man, so it's possible that none of what he said was true, which disappoints Chunt quite a bit.
Holly Fox[]
Holly is a fox that Chunt goes on a date with. While digging for grubs, Holly finds a mysterious box that she gifts to Chunt and that is later revealed to have a genie trapped inside. A few weeks later Chunt reveals that he and Holly are no longer dating and he seems quite sad about it.
Amuse-Bouche[]
Amuse-Bouche is a female moose goose (a moose with goose wings) that Chunt goes on a date with. She gives Chunt a Mana Cure, which can replenish his magic energy.
